Interment was in the Keys Cemetery with Hawkins Funeral Home of Fulton in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Gillentine, a leading farmer of Dorsey, was a lifelong citizen of Itawamba County and one of the most respected citizens of his community. He died at his home on this past Thursday night at 9 o'clock after suffering for more than a year of lukemia.
Mr. Gillentine leaves his wife, Mrs. Pearl Gillentine, one brother, W.E. Gillentine of Fulton and one sister, Mrs. E.N. Lesley o Carruthersville, Mo. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Troy Lesley of Dorsey and Mrs L.D. Taylor of Fulton and two sons, Marvin Gillentine and Dewey Gillentine both of Dorsey.
