Richard W. Wilburn, 36, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at his home in Shannon. He was reared in Fulton, where he lived until moving to Shannon 10 years ago. He was an employee of Thomas Lighting Co. of Tupelo and a member of Big Oak Baptist Church of Fulton. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Doug Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Clark Wilburn of Shannon; his father and mother, Billy W. and Cynthia Wilburn of Fulton; two daughters, Amanda Wilburn and Ashley Wilburn of Nettleton; a son, Coty Wilburn of Nettleton; three stepsons, Chris Roach, Michael Roach and William McMurry, all of Shannon; three brothers, Chris Wilburn and his wife, Deborah, Marty Wilburn and his wife, Tina, and Austin Wilburn, all of Fulton; a sister, Kacy Wilburn of Fulton; his grandfathers, H.L. Wilburn and Ezell Moore, both of Fulton; four grandchildren.
He was receded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Wilburn, and his grandmothers, Rachel Wilburn and Frances Moore.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Kennedy, B.J. Copeland, Tony Taylor, Brian Moore and Mark Wilburn.
Visitation was from 5 to 9 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to service time Sunday.
