Taken By Death
Edward V. Walton, 74, well known Wanatah resident, died Thursday afternoon at his home in that place.
He was born April 19, 1873, in Newark, N. J., a son of William and Eva Walton. On Dec. 26, 1912, he was married to Theresa Hartwig.
He was a veteran of the Spanish-Ameican war and was affiliated with the Salem Evangelical and Reformed church.
Surviving are the widow and one son, Rex, of Kalamazoo, Mich., one brother and one sister living in New York.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the H. A. Boehlke funeral home, Wanatah, with the Rev. Melvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Salem Evangelical cemetery.
Friends may call at the Boehlke funeral home Sunday afternoon and up until time of services.
