Funeral services were held July 3 at 5 p.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic church in Kaplan for Felician [sic] Broussard,71, who died at his home in Kaplan at 6:15 p. m. Sunday.
Burial was in the Kaplan Catholic cemetery under the direction of the D. L. Meaux Funeral Home.
Mr. Broussard is survived by his wife, the former Eliza Hulin; five sons, Philip and Aristile of New Orleans, Leonil of Kaplan, Octa of Oakdale and Dewey of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Israel Myers of Sulphur, Mrs. Adias Desormeaux of Kaplan, and Mrs. Joe Henry; two brothers, Clodias of Abbeville and Simon or Cameron; four sisters, Mrs. Ruford Bennett of Jeanerette, Mrs. George Hebert of Jeanerette, Mrs. George Hebert of Jeanerette, Mrs. Exavier Tellate of Beaumont, Tex., and Mrs. Wallace Roger of Jennings; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
