DAVID S. WARD JR., 72, of Millington, retired chemical engineer, died Monday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Millington, where he was a member, with burial in Ward Memorial Cemetery in Lucy. Family Funeral Care Stage Road Chapel has charge. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and an Army veteran. Mr. Ward, the husband of Patricia Ann Ward and widower of June Ward, also leaves two daughters, Ginger Swatley of Bartlett and Kate Huddleston of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; four sons, David S. Ward III, Paul Ward and Aaron Ward, all of Millington, and Dan Ward of Louisville, Tenn.; three sisters, Martha Ann Messer, Lettie Medford and Mary Ellen Restivo, all of Memphis, and six grandchildren.
