JOSEPH ALBERT SWINDLE
Joseph Albert Swindle, 59, farmer and stockman of Monroe died Tuesday at 7 a. m. in a Salt Lake hospital, following an operation.
Mr. Swindle, a lifelong resident of Monroe was born at Monroe July 24, 1878, a son of George and Mary Swindle. He had been active in L. D. S. church affairs and was superintendent of the Monroe south ward L. D. S. Sunday school at the time of his death.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Etta Hodges Swindle; four sons, Dr. D. J. Swindle, Salt Lake City; Dwight A., Ambrose H. and Ward P. Swindle; Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. V. J. Mortenson, Monroe; seven grandchildren: two brothers and three sisters: Heber and Harmon Swindle, monroe; Mrs. Wm. Goold, Wendell, Idaho; Mrs. Winget and Mrs. G. A. Christiansen, Monroe.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p m in the Monroe South ward chapel, with Bishop Heber Winget in charge. Burial will be in the Monroe cemetery.
