Mr. Moore a retired employee of MO Pacific Railroad and a farmer was born August 7, 1879 at Bessville. He was married to Mary Francis Long, who died December 2, 1947. He had lived near Charleston for the past 12 years and prior to that had resided for 22 years in Advance and Painton.
He is survived by 7 children, who are: Edgar and Oscar Moore and Mrs. Sylvester Rogers of Painton, Mrs. Hattie Hedge and Mrs. Robert Rogers of Charleston, Mrs. Leonard Daniels of Advance, Mrs. James Coomer of Mt. Vernon; 2 brothers, Will Moore of Dexter, Geo. Moore of Hornersville; 4 sisters, Mrs. Maranda Beck of Marion, Ill., Mrs. Theodore Campbell of Flat River, Mrs. Roba Parsons of Bessville, Mrs. L.M. Shrum of Advance; 37 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
