MRS. ARTIE M. FUNDERBURK
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Recut Holiness Church for Mrs. Artie M. Funderburk, 66, who died Monday at her home in the Redcut addition. The Rev. Dial Cook and the Rev. W.H. Pate will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ralph Kidd, A.E. Turnage, W.W. Terry Jr., Paul Dunklin, Caleb Hancock and Leonard Hughey. Honorary pallbearers will be John Preston, Gary Turner, Troy Elrod, J.D. Oliver, Will Mortenson, Ernest Mortenson, Willie Coleman, Charley Miller, Gilbson Page, Kermit Haltom, George Shelf and Peter Mason. She was a native of Alabama and a resident of Bowie County for the past 38 years. Survivors include three sons, William A. Funderburk Sr., Carl S. and Stonewall Funderburk and a daughter, Mrs. H.E. Moore, all of Texarkana; one brother, Steve Thomas of Alexander, Ala.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
