MARION GLASCO SR.

SPENCERVILLE -- Marion D. (Don) Glasco Sr., 69, Rt. 2, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lima St. Rita's Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday afternoon.

Born March 18, 1900, in New Stark, he was a son of Curtus (sic) and Lydia Ream Glasco. He married Fredonia B. Golden of April 15, 1919, and she survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Ivan R. of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Marion D. Jr. of San Bruno, Calif., and Marvin Dean of Spencerville; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Evelyn) Stephenson of Spencerville; two brothers, Zurney and Gerald of Lima; 21 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. A son, George and a daughter, Pauline, are deceased.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired pump operator for Buckeye Pipe Line Co.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Thoma E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Rev. Leonard Spacht officiating. Burial will be in Spencerville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after tonight.
