Louis Brough, 74, a farmer in the Morristown area for many years, died early today (Feb 14, 1961) in Hepburn Hospital where he had been a patient for a few days. Mr. Brought has suffered from a heart condition for some time.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2pm at Christ Church (Episcopal), Morristown. The Rev. William Gray will officiate and interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery.

The Nichols funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Surviving Mr. Brough are two sons, James of Syracuse and Robert of Utica; two daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Garrison of Route 1, Fulton and Mrs. Vern (Marie) Flieger of MOrristown; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Another son, Napoleon Brough of Morristown, died in August 1958.

Mr. Brough was born in Morristown, Dec 13, 1886, the son of James and Margaret Bayette Brough. Mr. Brough was the last survivor of a family of seven children. When Mr. Brough was a young man he sailed for two years on the Great Lakes. He spent much of his life, however, farming in the Morristown area, and had lived in Morristown for nearly 50 years. He worked at one time for the Comstock Pill factory in Morristown.

Mr. Brough married Miss Georgiana Ward on Nov 2, 1912, the ceremony being performed at Notre Dame Church here by the late Rev. P.O. LaRose. Mrs. Brough died Jan 6, 1958.
