Mr. Joe W. Richardson, age 93 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011. He was born on January 9, 1918 in Atlanta, Louisiana to the late Jesse W. and Nellie E. Durham Richardson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II, a retired safety engineer for LTD., member of Pineview Baptist Church, McGregor Masonic Lodge, and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Cook Richardson; four brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by three daughters, Linda Vahrenkamp of Winnsboro, Janet Coe and husband Joe Dan of Winnsboro, Barbara Panter and husband Sam of Emory; one son, John Richardson and wife Fern of Rockwall; eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
