Roy Adam Boring (1910-1962), 52, Hollister, was dead on arrival at Putnam Memorial Hospital at 7 p.m., Thursday. His death was attributed to a heart condition.
He was a master welder and had been a resident of Hollister for six months coming from Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Vola Mae, Hollister; three daughters, Mrs. Lula Belle Purvis, Vero Beach, Mrs. Rosetta Skinner, Melbourne, and Miss Kathryn Boring, Hollister; five sons, Roy Franklin, J. T., Jackie of Hollister, George, Eau Gallie, and Coy, Melbourne; two sisters, Mrs. Ott (Eva Mae) Crowder, and Mrs. Herman (Ella Emiline) Kagley; three brothers, Dave Boring, Leonard Thomas Boring and Lonnie Calvin Boring, all of Maryville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Masters Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ira Ramey officiating. Committal services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
