She was a daughter of the late Thomas Monroe "Bud" McDonald and Mary Susan Grant McDonald and the wife of the late Paul Forshee, who died in 1988. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Forshee; a daughter-in-law, Regina Forshee; a brother, Mickey McDonald; and two sisters, Edith Green and Faye Hargis.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Old Union Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, and at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Eastern Star service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
