Mr. Biggs was a native of Little Rock, Ark., but had lived most of his life in Crystal Springs. He graduated from Crystal Springs High School and received his B.S. in Pharmacy from Sanford University, he was a member of First
Presbyterian Church, where he served as treasurer and deacon. Mr. Biggs was a third generation pharmacist and he worked and managed the family drug store for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Horton Biggs, Crystal Springs; daughter, Wendy Biggs Bruce, Crystal Springs; sons, Walton Avery "Trey" Biggs III., Byram and Chad Collins Biggs of Birmingham; brother, Frank Biggs, Crystal Springs; sister, Tarry Biggs Henry, Crystal Springs and granddaughter, Katherine Page Bruce, Crystal Springs.
