ANSETH, SOURIS HOEMSTEADER, DIES JULY 15TH


Carl Benjamin Anseth passed away suddenly from a heart attack the morning of July 13th, 1943.


Carl was born in Douglas County, Evansville, Minnesota on February 8, 1888.


He came to Bottineau County at the age of 13 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernt Anseth, where his father homesteaded northwest of Souris in 1900.


On August 7th, 1930 he was untied in marriage to Sena Sivertson.


He leaves to mourn his wife and three children; Arlys, Bennett and Zelda, and eight brothers and sisters; Teoline (Mrs. Hans Erickson) of Rugby N. D.; Martin of Rugby, Olivia (Mrs. Ed Simonson) of Ross, N. D.; Bernhard of Souris, Adolph and Ed of Williston, N. D.; Tenmor of Oregon; Anna (Mrs. Bodell) of Souris, N. Dak.


Those preceding him in death are his parents and seen brothers and sisters; Knute, Christian, Melina (Mrs. T. O. Torstenson); Palmer; Anna; Birdie, and Baby Elsie.


Those present at the funeral of his brothers and sisters were Martin of Rugby,, Mrs. Ed Simonson of Ross, Mrs. Hans Erickson of Rugby, Ed of Williston and Mrs. Anna Bodell of Souris, also several nieces and nephews.
