Funeral Notice Transcription from The Des Moines Ledger, Friday Morning, December 27, 1901

The funeral of Mr. M. Wallerich was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence, 907 Sixth Avenue. The services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Wirt, assisted by Miss Phoebe Dorr. Mr. Wallerich was born in Prussia, Germany, in 1837, and came to Iowa at an early age. About fourteen years ago he came to this city, engaging in the gun and locksmith business at Sixth avenue and Mulberry street. He has been in poor health for the past two years. He leaves a wife and four children, Mrs Will H. Brown, Mrs Frederic Ropkey, of Indianapolis, Ind. and George W. and Carl Wallerich of this city.
