STONE, Hallie Lester, 95, of Chesterfield, Va., went to be with the Lord March 10, 2015. She was born August 14, 1919 in Stoneville, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Vance and Lillie Thacker Lester of Stoneville, N.C.; her husband, Cecil Conley Stone Sr.; sons, T. Melvin Stone Sr. and Cecil Conley Stone Jr.; and sisters and brothers. She is survived by daughter, Jeannette Stone Kersey; and son-in-law, John A. Kersey Jr.; and daughter, Sherian D. Stone; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Lester (Pauline) of Stoneville, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Hallie's family appreciated the love, care and prayers provided by At Home Care Hospice, and special caregiver, Michelle Clodfelter. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (today) at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral ceremony will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Lyndale Baptist Church, 8320 Hull Street Rd., N. Chesterfield, Va. 23235-5908.
