BOTH DRIVERS NEGLIGENT, IS JURY VERDICT
Inquest Conducted Into Gordon Durr Death
Gordon Durr, 26, came to his death as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near the intersection of Eighth street and Date Avenue last Saturday evening at about 7:15 o'clock "due to negligence on the part of both drivers, not criminal," a coroner's jury declared in a verdict returned shortly after six o'clock last night.
The inquest was conducted by Coroner Earl A. Freeman in his courtroom in the basement of the courthouse.
Dies in Hospital
Durr died in the Yuma General hospital early yesterday morning, four days after the death of his cousin, George Durr, 22, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident which took place on Eighth street about three-quarters of a mile east of Date avenue.
