Age 94, passed away at his home on Friday, November 24, 2005. Joe was born in Grand Chute on Aug. 2, 1911, son of the late Arnold and Mary (Hurkman) Gloudemans. For some time he lived in Depere, and had been employed by Nicolet Papers for nearly 30 years until his retirement. During World War II, Joe served as a faithful member of the United States Army. He is survived by a sister: Irene McDonald, who resides in Farmington, New Mexico. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Joe was preceeded in death by his parents; brothers: Ben (Ida) Gloudemans and Frank (Violet) Gloudemans; sisters: Anna (George) Hermsen, Ceil (George) Look, Martha (Ed) Olson, Theresa (George) Gilsdorf, and Loretta (Phil) Laeser; and a brother-in-law: Lewis McDonald. At Joe's request, he will be cremated, and his urn will be placed near his parents at St. John Cemetery in Little Chute. A gravesite service will be announced in the spring.
