ANTONELLI Lui J., age 80, of Wilburton, OK, passed away Wed. in Norman, OK. Lui was born Dec. 4, 1919 in Wilburton, OK to Lui & Jennie Cafero Antonelli. He attended Wilburton Public School and Eastern Oklahoma State College. In 1947, he graduated from OU Law School. Lui married Mary Lou Eldridge on Aug. 9, 1945 in Wilburton. Lui served in the Army's 44 Division, SV CO 71st Infantry during WWII, obtaining the rank of Master Sergeant. During the Korean War and Vietnam War, he served as a Warrant Officer with the Judge Advocate General's office. He retired from the military in 1970 after 24 years of service, and practiced law in Lawton, OK for 10 years before retiring to Sun City West, AZ. Lui then returned to OK where he was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include wife, Mary Lou Antonelli, Sun City West, AZ; 2 sons, Michael and James Antonelli, Ocean City, MA; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Nancy & Bond Beams, Dallas, TX; 1 sister, Minnie Appling, Wilburton, OK; 2 grandchildren, Katie and Colin Beams, Dallas, TX; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lui was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and a brother, Lt. Colonel Albert Antonelli. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Sun. at Jones Chapel. Services will be 10:00 AM Mon. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. The family entrusted Jones Funeral Home of Latimer County with the arrangements.
