Ethel Marie Dalton of Levelland lived until May 16, 2008. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at First United Methodist Church in Levelland, with Rev. Wendell Horn officiating. Burial will follow in City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland.

Ethel was born in Corn, Okla. Oct. 19, 1919, to Henry and Rena Adler. She married Kyle Dalton on June 30, 1945, in Weatherford, Okla. She retired from Levelland ISD Food Service. She was a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church in Levelland and the Open Door Sunday School Class.

Ethel was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kyle Dalton; brother, Eldon Adler of Weatherford, Okla.; sister, Adelia Yost of Alexander, Kan.; three daughters, Sandra Splawn and husband Ken of Perryton, Gloria McCallister and husband, Rudy of Cooper, and Wanda St. Leger and husband Dan of Mesquite; one grandson, Michael Splawn and wife Wendi of McKinney; three granddaughters, Stacy Manley and husband Daniel of Carrollton, Kendra Ruecker and husband Dion of Mc Kinney, and Danielle St. Leger of Mesquite; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1011 Houston St., Levelland, TX 79336.
