Herman W. Bills, 75, of 1610 Lay St. died of pneumonia Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with the burial in Webb Cemetery at Norwalk.
Born in Appanoose County, Mr. Bills lived in Des Moines for 36 years. He was a retired Des Moines city employee and a member of the Mystic Christian Church at Mystic.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Des Moines; his daughter, Marlene Armstrong of Des Moines; three brothers, George, Millard and Roy, all of Mystic; two sisters, Elsie Clark of Des Moines and Isal Phelps of Centerville, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
