Funeral services for Betty Ann Webb, 62 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008, 10:00 A.M. in "The Chapel" of Lockstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Betty was born on December 11, 1945 in Sterling, Oklahoma to Paul Raymond and Cora Ellen "Mikey" (Simpson) King and passed away at her home on Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Colony, Oklahoma. Betty was raised and attended school in Fletcher, Oklahoma until the age of 13 when they moved to Colony, Oklahoma. Upon graduation she attended nursing school and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. In November of 1960, Betty married Vernon Doc "Shorty" Webb and made their home in Colony, Oklahoma. They moved to Weatherford in 1969 where she has worked at LittleBird Nursing Home and Weatherford Living Center as a LPN. Betty enjoyed gambling, playing Bingo, fishing, bowling, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by one son, Andy Webb and wife, Kim of Perryville, Missouri; two daughters, Marcia Aranda and husband, Alex of Elk City, Oklahoma and Loretta Webb of Colony, Oklahoma; seven brothers, Jimmy King of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Danny King and wife, Freda of Colony, Oklahoma, Roy King and wife, Jan of Thomas, Oklahoma, Raymond King and wife, Kay of Colony, Oklahoma, Jerry King of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Roger King and wife, Diana of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Ted King and wife, Delores of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sisters, Paula Rich of Mesquite, Texas and Lori Owens and husband, Steve of Weatherford, Oklahoma; ten grand-children, Adam Aranda, Ryan Webb, Nicole Aranda, Kelly Webb, Mark Webb, Joseph Aranda, Sierra Webb, Karen Harris, Kelsey Aranda, and Trent Webb; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Webb, Alex Maldonado, and Tyler Webb. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steve King.
