Mabel Flint Rites Monday

Mabel Flint, 84, 1323 Indiana Avenue, Connersville, died at Fayeete Memorial Hospital at 11:27 a.m. Friday. She had been a hospital patient since June 5.

Mrs. Flint was born November 8, 1880 in Morristown, the daughter of Finley and Cecelia Hupp Hargrove. She moved to Connersville 44 years ago from Rushville.

She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, having become a member of the Martha Poe Chapter, here, and later transferred to the Connersville chapter. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Connersville. Her husband, Frank, a former Rushville barber, died in 1959.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Grimes, Connersville, a granddaughter, Susan J. Grimes and several cousins.

Funeral services will he held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home, in Connersville, with Dr. Floyd Cook officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery, Morristown.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
