MRS. SARAH SHANNON, 83, DIES AT NASHUA
Nashua, IA--Mrs. Sarah Shannon, 83, who came to Nashua in 1865 and had resided in or near here since, died early Wednesday morning at her home here. She suffered a stroke while ill of pneumonia.
Mrs. Shannon was born at Elkhart, Ind., on Dec. 4, 1847.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Cecil Knight, with whom she lived, and by four sons: Joh, Nashua; Pleasant, Sweet Home, Ore.; Bert, Bellingham, Wash.; and Russell, Moline, Ill.
