Married Alice Lucille Bender on September 4, 1949 in Russell, Kansas.

Married Mary Agnes Seidel on March 22, 1990 in Ellis, Kansas.

Paul A. Wagner, 76, died Oct. 11 at Trego
County-Lemke Memorial Hospital in Wakeeney.
He was born Jan. 30, 1926 in rural Otis,
the son of Samuel A. and Mollie (Adolph)
Wagner. He married Alice Bender on
Sept. 4, 1949 at Russell. She preceded him
in death on April 26, 1980.

Wagner married Mary Agnes Lang on
March 23, 1990 at Ellis. She preceded him
in death on Feb. 5, 2001. A resident of Ellis
since 1990 coming from Otis, he was a farmer
and a mechanic for Ochs, Inc. in Otis.
Wagner was a member of Trinity Lutheran
Church of Otis. A lifetime member of VFW Post
9137 and American Legion Post 0173, both of
Otis, Wagner was a U.S. Marine veteran of
World War II. He was also a member of the
Sunflower Polka Club and P.O.L.K. of America
Polka Club.

Survivors include: one son, Dwayne Wagner of
Great Bend; two daughters, Ellen R. Prescott
of Manhattan and Brenda L. Horton of Lindale,
Texas; six step-sons, Gerald Lang of
Durham, NH, Robert Lang of Bedford, IN, Ernest
Lang of Douglas, WY, Edward Alan Lang of
Sycamore, IL, Brian Lang of Solomon, and Clyde
Lang of Ellis; four step-daughters, JoAnn
Hohman of Wakefield, Marilyn Steuve of Olpe,
Donna Scarbrough of Austin, Texas, and
Velma Jackman of Roanoke, Texas; three
brothers, Raymond Wagner, Norman Wagner, and
Harold Wagner all of Otis; one sister, Arlene
Maier of Oakley; four grandchildren; 28 step
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and
one step great grandchild. He was preceded
in death by one sister, Elsie Boxberger, and
one grandson, Gary Allan Wagner.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 15
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis with the
Rev. Jeri Dexheimer officiating. Burial will
be at the Lutheran Cemetery in Otis with a
flag presentation by VFW Post 9137 and
American Legion Post 0173. Friends may call
from 3 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday all at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home
and 9 p.m. to service time Tuesday at the
church. A prayer service will be held at
8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials
are suggested to the Otis Ambulance Fund or
American Cancer Society, in care of the
funeral home.
