Horace B. "Andy" Anderson, 80, of 2526 Hankins Street N.W. died Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. at Doctors Hospital where he had been a patient. Born in Clayton, Indiana, Mr. Anderson had lived in the Massillon area for the past 34 years. He retired in 1969 after 33 years of service as assistant manager of the former Union Drawn Division of Republic Steel Corporation. He was also a former superintendent of Union Drawn in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife, Florence Nicklas Anderson; two sons, Larry D. and Gary R. Anderson; two sisters [Margaret Walls and Vivian Carter]; a brother [Robert Dale Anderson]; and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Reedurban Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Jackson Township. Arrangements are being handled by the Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home, where friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may also call for an hour before the service Friday at the church.
