Mr. Moran was a native of Gulfport and a longtime resident of Bay St. Louis. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Cox Moran; two brothers, Elmer Moran and Hersey Moran; and a sister, Viola Hanrahan.
Survivors include two sisters, Velma Hall of Gulfport and Flora Mary McDonald of Pass Christian.
A service will be at 10 a.m. today at Riemann Funeral Home in Pass Christian where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery. Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
