A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, in Clackamas Valley Baptist Church for Lulu Jane Lynch, who died Aug. 2 at age 87.
Mrs. Lynch was born March 11, 1912, near Estacada. Her maiden name was Brown. She was a homemaker and owned three restaurants on the Oregon coast before retiring in 1979. In 1929, she married Earl M.; he died in 1981.
Survivors include her son, George H. of Panama City, Fla.; daughters, Leona B. Campanella of Estacada, Sylvia J. Lynch of Airway Heights, Wash., and Charlotta E. Melzer of Manzanita; brothers, William S. Brown and Orville F. Brown, and sisters, Charlette e. Underwood, Ella E. Tripp and Jessie Kennedy, all of Myrtle Point; 35 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be in the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Estacada. The family suggests remembrances to the Estacada Senior Center. Arrangements are by Estacada Funeral Chapel.
