Joseph Altizer, aged 85, passed away this morning at 10 o'clock at the home of his son, Joe, five miles northwest of this city. He had been quite sick for some time and for the past several days all hope of his ultimate recovery had been abandoned. Mr Altizer has lived here a number of years and was a man loved and honored by his friends and neighbors. The funeral will be preached at the residence of his son tomorrow at 1:30 after which the remains will be laid to rest in the Kingfisher cemetery.
