Obituary: Howard Earl Davis

Earl Davis left us on January 5, 1999, to join his beautiful wife.

Born December 5, 1921 in Salt Lake City to Alma Earl and Barta Nielsen Davis. Married Marie Barlow April 2, 1949.

His greatest times were spent on long vacations with his wife and their truck and camper. Dad was a special angel who will be missed very much.

He served in the U.S. Navy Coast Guard. Retired U.S. Postal Service and Utah Alcohol Beverage Control.

He is survived by his children, Bart and Steave Davis; Samantha Davis; Al (Dee) Cleveland; Fran (Gary) Haycock, all of Salt Lake; LaRue Reilley of Missoula, Montana; special friends, Judy and husband, Delbert; 21 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, parents, daughter, Dawn Marie, sister, Madolyn and brother, Merrill.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 7, 1999, 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road. Memorial Estates Mortuary, Directors.
