The following is from the Lewiston Idaho "Lewiston Morning Tribune" issue of Tues. July 3, 1956:
ARROW -- Harvey O. Woodruff, 86, a native of Illinois and a former resident of Clarkston, passed away at 7 Monday night at his home on Potlatch Creek, one mile above Arrow.
Mr. Woodruff was born at Roberts, Ill., Jan. 4, 1870. He has been a resident of Potlatch Creek since 1920.
Mr. Woodruff came from Illinois to Southwick in 1904 where he farmed and raised stock before moving to Clarkston. He lived at Clarkston for 11 years until he moved to his present home.
Mr. Woodruff was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Bell Scofield Woodruff, whom he married Dec. 2, 1899, at Virgil, S. D. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Bear and Mrs. Marshall Bear, both of Watseka, Ill; a daughter Beth Wing of Potlatch Creek; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body is at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, Lewiston. Arrangements are pending."

From the same paper, July 6, 1956:
"Funeral services for Harvey O. Woodruff were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the family home on Potlatch Creek with burial in the family cemetery at the home.
The Rev. R. E. Bebeut officiated and Mrs. Rolan Albright sang.
Pallbearers were Ed Groseclose, John Groseclose, John Lettenmaier, Joe Wing, Ernest Wing and Edgar Leach."
