Emma Abernathy Farlow, 92, of Greensboro passed away on January 23, 2019 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Farlow was born on May 17, 1926 in Nash County, NC to the late Thomas M. and Lottie Pearl Stallings Abernathy. Emma was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville and a retired employee of Sears Roebuck and Company. She was a loving wife , mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Larry Farlow (Donna) of New Jersey and Deborah Maness of Greensboro, 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband ,Robert Farlow, Jr and her son ,Ronald Farlow.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Flowers are welcomed , but memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 5585 Burlington Road, McLeansville, NC 27301.
