Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Smithfield United Methodist Church, 6701 Smithfield Rd., North Richland Hills. Burial to follow in Blue Mound Cemetery, Sanger. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel.
Cecil was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Melissa. He was a farmer early in his life and later retired from Aviall. He married Esther Edwards on June 28, 1968.
Survivors: Wife, Esther Evans of North Richland Hills; children, Joyce and Chuck Mercer of Marshall, Royce and Linda Evans of Princeton, Frances and Tom Morrow of Tishomingo, Okla., Kay and Phil Sartin of Yantis, Don and Janice Edwards of Millsap, Roy and Vicki Edwards of North Richland Hills and Ray and Martha Edwards of Springtown; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
