Former Postmastsr Romler.

John F. Romler of Armor, who will be buried today, had many friends in Erie county. He was postmaster at Armor—formerly known as Abbott's Corners—for many years. One of his possessions was a commission as postmaster signed by Postmaster General Vilas, in the days when Grover Cleveland was President. Mr. Romler's service In the office, began in 1888 and lasted until four or five years ago.

Mr. Romler was but 56 years old when he died. He left a widow and seven children. His death on Thursday followed a slight bruise on the arm which brought on blood poisoning. He was a wagon-maker and as such had wide acquaintance as well as through his official service. His funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from Saints Peter and Paul's church in Hamburg.
