Carol A. (LaBier) Fagan, of Bridgewater, passed away on January 1, 2023. She was 85 years old. Carol proudly worked as a police officer at Bridgewater State College for 24 years. She started her career as the first female hired, climbed the ranks through hard work and dedication, and retired as a sergeant. She also worked as a traffic supervisor for the Town of Bridgewater. When her children were young, she served as a Cub Scout Leader. Spare time was enjoyed vacationing with her sisters to the Cape beaches, Canada and cruising but most of all Carol loved attending family celebrations. Her other interests included taking care of her many cats, playing the lottery, shopping, and spending time with her good friends. Carol will be remembered for her strong personality, inclination to always be helpful and her sassy demeanor. She will be deeply missed.

Beloved wife of the late John J. "Jack" Fagan. Devoted mother of Tracie Fagan of Taunton, John J. "Jake" Fagan, Jr. and his wife Lynne of Assonet and Timothy D. Fagan of New Bedford. Cherished "Mem" of Melissa McKenna, Jackie Fagan, Victoria Fagan, Brittany Fagan, Brianna Fagan, Harleigh Fagan, and several great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Joseph and Marion LaBier. Loving sister of Louis LaBier of Manomet and the late Helen Walter, Joseph LaBier, Audrey Kane, and Lorraine Kane. Dear friend of Maureen Regan of Raynham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol's family is so grateful for the staff at Longmeadow Nursing Home and Bristol Hospice for the kind and compassionate care shown to her during her illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours from 10 AM-12 PM on Friday, January 6th at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 98 Bedford Street in Bridgewater. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 12 PM. Masks are strongly recommended.
