Mrs. Emma L. Hook, 84, died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital, Ann Arbor, where she had been a patient three days. Mrs. Hook was employed at St. Joseph Academy and resided at Maria Hall.
She was born in Wyandotte [sic) County, Ohio, Jan. 17, 1991. Surviving are one brother, Cyril Brown of Carey and one nephew, Thomas of Toledo.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph, one son, Louis, and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Burkhart and Mrs. Esther Iden.
Mrs. Hook was a member of St. Joseph's Church and its Christian Mothers and Altar Society.
Friends may call at the Dominican Motherhouse. The Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary tonight at 7 o'clock at the Motherhouse. Services will be held at the Motherhouse Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by the Dunmore Funeral Home.

The sermon was by the Rev. Fr. Harold Wolf. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemery. The bearers were Robert and Kenneth Schwartz, Roger Schuerman and George Wielfaert.
