George Jackson "Jack" Adams, 65, traveled from earth to glory Monday, May 28, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Emerald Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home.
Love has given us more than death can take away. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He enjoyed seeing new life through his grandchildren's eyes.
He was perceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, John W Jr. and Ruby D. Breen; grandson, Miguel A. Aquirre; and nephew, Staff Sgt. Leonard W. Adams, who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005.
Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Adams; their children, Cheryl E. Adams, Richard C. and Lora Adams, Kimberly and Mark Graham, Heather Adams, Jose Rios, Amber Adams and Leonel Arenas; grandchildren, Carl F. III, Erik J., Elizabeth A., C.J. and Bobby Wiesendanger, Jose L. Vasquez Jr., Reanna Hall, Blake Hall, Ashley Vasquez and Leo Aguirre Jr.; brother, Robert Jr. and Shirly Adams; sister, Jacobyna Beebe; brothers-in-law, John Breen III and Michele Sims and Michael Breen; sisters-in-law, Cindy Shumway, Lana and Mike Vomburg, Mary and Delbert Beall, Cindy Hickman and Donna Breen; son-in-law, Carl and Betty Wiesendanger II; and a host of other family and friends.
