Mrs. W. N. Daniel, 41 died at her home, 1006 14th Ave., Phenix City, AL, at 10:40 o'clock Monday morning after a short illness.
Mrs. Daniel was the wife of W. N. Daniel, former clerk of Phenix City, who resigned his position a few weeks ago to accept a position as traveling auditor with the state of Alabama.
Mrs, Daniel had made Phenix City her home for the past eight years where she had made a host of friends who will learn of her death with sincere regret. She was a member of the Wilson Williams Lodge Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Eleanor Daniel of Phenix City, her mother, Mrs. E.B. Gregory of St. Louis, MO, and a sister, Mrs. Harry F. Wachter of St. Louis, MO.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C.W. Smith will conduct the service and the interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery. The following have been requested to serve as pallbearers: L. Booker, J.B. Sudduth, Roy L. Smith, J.S. Bird, L.P. Stough and W.F. Rivers.
