Guadalupe M. Espinoza, 61, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Guadalupe was born on October 27, 1946 to Anastacio Mata and Concepcion Mena Mata in Sebastian. She was a lifetime resident of Lyford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Florentino Espinoza. Survivors include one daughter, Susie Espinoza of Lyford; three sons: Florentino Espinoza, Jr., Jesse Michael (Liza) Espinoza both of Lyford and Johnny Ray (Veronica) Espinoza of Harlingen. She is also survived by two sisters: Margarita Gutierrez and Rosa Maria (Jaime) Robles and ten grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Hernandez Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 6, with a rosary recited by Bella Coronado that evening. Visitation resumed on Friday, March 7, until depature for funeral mass celebrated by Fr. Octavio Escobar at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford.
