Doris J. Franks, 90, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Weston, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green. She was born January 8, 1933 in Weston to Floyd and Minnie (Gault) Beaverson.
Doris was an avid quilter and a former member of the Church of Christ in Weston.
Surviving are her daughter Gretchen Amos and son, Albert Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Franks whom she married on October 5, 1985; a daughter, Elizabeth Johnson; and siblings, Theodore Beaverson, Deloris Hall, Kathryn Spangler, and Eloise Lance.
Private arrangements have been entrusted with Snyder-Hoening Funeral Home, Holgate, Ohio.
