Cheryl graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Education. She taught at St. Thomas High School in Ann Arbor for several years until her daughter was born. She was a devoted wife and mother, spending hours with her children attending schooling and sporting events. She pursued her career by working evenings at Ypsilanti in Adult Education, later becoming an administrative assistant for Michigan Public Health Institute and most recently worked as a clerk in the neonatal ICU for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Cheryl enjoyed taking care of her home and her beautiful garden but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She played hours of Uno with them, took them to movies, getting manicures with the girls, and just being "grandma."
Besides her husband she is survived by her 3 children; 7 grandchildren; her father and a brother.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Libke and grandparents, John "Sherman" and Theda Williams.
