AUGUSTINE- Quietly, and without protest, Kathleen (Kay) Augustine (nee Carroll) passed away on Friday the 21st of January at 11:35 p.m. in her 91st year. Our mother went as she lived – as an angel among us- with dignity and poise. Said by those who love her, the world will be a lesser place without her. We will forever rejoice in the privilege of having her touch our lives. She leaves her children David (Gaeline), Carol (Donald) Ashley of Fort Erie and Ernest (Dinah) of Port Elgin. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Donna (Rob) Howarth, Gravenhurst, Drew (Bobbie Jo) Augustine, Laura (Randy) Gullion, Fort Erie, Darryl (Kyla) Augustine, Toronto, Melanie (Ben) Grimm, Tara and Melissa (Fiance Cody) Augustine, Toronto. Great grandmother of Kyle, Ryan and Kristy Howarth, Spencer and Alysha Gullion, Samantha and Blake Augustine and Jacob Grimm. She will be dearly missed by her brother Russell (Lorna) Carroll, her sister-in-law Lila Sherk, her brother-in-law Raymond Augustine and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a very involved member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a member and president of the Ladies Aid until recently and a dedicated member of the Womens' Missionary Society. She actively participated in services at Christianview Mission and Fellowship. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne in 1995, her brother David Wilfred Carroll, her sister Velma Rowland and most recently her brother Jamie Carroll. Friends will be received at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES 135 Clarence St. Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service time at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 176 Elm St. with Dr. Jack Neil officiating.
