Iva was born October 06, 1909 at Hobson Community, Okfuskee Co, Oklahoma, To Ross Denton McCallie Sr & Ida Belle Grissom., Iva was the second of five children born to Ross & Ida., When Iva was two years old she had a form of paralysis and as a result of that she could not have children. Iva married Marvin F. Shaw October 02, 1942 and later moved to Tulsa where she spent most of her life. Iva was very colorful and sure had a way with words, She was about four feet tall and always said dynamite comes in small packages. She never met a stranger and if you ever met her you wouldn't forget. She was my aunt.
