Charlotte L. McKinnon
OGDEN- Mrs. Charlotte Louise McKinnon, 75, 835 23rd St., died in an Ogden hospital Sunday at 10:45 a.m. after an extended illness.
Mrs. McKinnon was born Dec. 31, 1875 in Woodruff a daughter of Anson C. and Charlotte Brown Call. She lived in Woodruff until her marriage to Peter McKinnon in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The couple then moved to Randolph, Rich County and came to Ogden in 1921. He died in Ogden Sept 15, 1948.
She had long been an active LDS Church worker. She had been president of the Woodruff LDS Ward Primary Association the Woodruff Stake Primary Assoc. and in Ogden had been president of Ogden Sixth LDS Primary and a member of both Weber and Ogden LDS Stake Relief Society boards. She had held many lesser auxiliary church positions
At the time of her death she was a member of Ogden Sixth LDS Ward and she also was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She was the mother of nine sons and daughters five of whom survive. Anson C. McKinnon, Mrs. Grant L. (Vera) Ripley, Mrs. William J. (Marie) Anderson, Ogden, Mrs. Jack A. (Erma) Seibold, Stockton Cal., and Mrs. Lee (Bernice) Bromley, Logan. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers and two sisters, Charles and Clive Call, Mrs. Ethel Lowe and Mrs. Carrie Neville, all of Ogden. Funeral services will be conducted in Lindquist and Sons Funeral chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Orlo S. Maw, bishop Ogden Sixth LDS Ward.
Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to service.
