Shirley V. Gerhart, age 85, of Beach Haven passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her home. Shirley was born Souderton, PA and formerly of Lansdale and Telford before moving to Beach Haven two years ago. Shirley was a patriotic woman who advocated for animal rights and was active with the St. Francis Seniors.
Surviving Shirley are her niece, Sharon DeSipio, O.F.S., nephew John Stevens, Jr. and cousin Leonard Musgrave. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday December 6, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ. Interment was held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
