Roy James Miller, age 67, of Newport, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
He attended New Beginning Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Nola Miller; eight brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Miller of Newport; sons, Roy Robert Miller, Randy Lee Miller, of Newport, James Bruce Miller of Ohio; daughter Donna Miller of Ohio; brother Robert Miller and wife Susie,; stepchildren, Charles Everett Hall and wife Penny of Newport, Geraldine Ridens of Newport, Mary Lou Burns and Deborah Smith of Alabama; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.
