DOUBLE FUNERAL SERVICES AT ERIE IN THE McCARTHY FAMILY
Erie Dec. 21---Double Funeral services for Mother and Daughter were held at the Erie community church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, as the result of the death Monday night of Mrs. B. Lucille McCarthy Adair. Mrs Adair's mother Mrs. Robert McCarthy, passed away at Dec. 16. both succumbed to attacks of pneumonia.
The Rev. E.E. Emhoff, pastor of the Longmont Presbyterian church officiated and burial was made in Erie Cemetery.
Mrs. Adair died at her home in Erie, Monday evening. She had lived in Erie all her life and was born Sept 13, 1907.
Besides her husband, L. E. Adair, the young woman leaves a year old daughter, Barbara Lucille Adair; her father Robert McCarthy and brother Carl, both reside in Erie.
Both Mother and daughter were members of the Presbyterian church here. Mrs. McCarthy resided in Erie since 1900 and was prominent in welfare work. Mrs. Adair and Mrs. McCarthy were ill only a short time.
