Mary Jane Cooper, wife of James Henry Haynes, is the daughter of Joel Madison Cooper and Sarah Trammell. Mary Jane and James married in Whitfield County, Georgia and they lived in the Dalton area for many years. Together, over the next 25 years, they had eleven children; seven sons and four daughters. Mary is buried next to her daughter Lena (Orleana) and John W. Penney. Her husband James H. Haynes is buried at the Woodland Cemetery in Port Orange. Three of their sons, Charles, Augustus and Joseph, are buried next to their Father.
