Earl T. Jackson, of Alton, MO, son of the late John W. and Olive (Douglas) Jackson was born Dec. 2, 1904 at Sligo, MO and departed this life Oct. 7, 1982 at the West Plains Health Care Center in West Plains, MO; at the age of 77 years. He was married Jan. 28, 1925 at St. Louis, MO to Lucille B. Buckner, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one sister.
He was a member of the Christian Church at Louisburg, MO.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Jackson of West Covina, CA; two sisters, Orphie Swanson of Woodford Heights, CA; and Ina Chronister of Alton, MO; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct. 11, 1982 at Carter Chapel with Dr. Preston T. Bailey officiating. Interment was in Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
